First Practice: Monday, May 29, 2023
Last Practice: Wednesday, September 20, 2023

Times:
6:00 pm to 7:30 pm, Mondays and Wednesdays

Note: No practice on the following Mondays; July 3, August 7, and September 4.
Make up days will be Friday; July 7, August 11 and September 8

Ages:
18 years of age or older

Fee:
$500.00 – twice a week
$300.00 – once a week

Fees includes coaching, paddles and life jackets, but participants may use their own. Fees do not include the cost of jerseys, other apparel or regattas.

 

Regattas:
The NBCC Mixed Recreational Dragon Boat Team will participate in two regattas if there is enough interest from the paddlers. The cost of regatta’s are not included in your Dragon Boat Season’s Fee.

The Mixed Recreational Dragon Boat Program is designed for men and women  who want to enjoy being on the water, have fun, paddle with their friends, get some fitness and develop their skills to compete at Dragon Boat regattas. No previous paddling experience is required but participants must be at least 18 years old and must submit a completed PARQ form before participating.
